jwFacebook Comments has undergone a rewrite to handle the full range of article displays.

First and foremost.... READ THE INSTRUCTIONS (OR AT LEAST THIS LINK) IF YOU ARE NEW TO THIS!

It will now be able to be implemented in the Blog Category, Frontpage, and Full Article view, and it has also been given some more connectivity options through the implementation of a 'onReady' Javascript statement which executes when the jwFacebook Comments has renders.

There is also support for the Full CSS and Compact CSS (Compact CSS is used when the FB Comment block is rendered on a Blog Layout or Frontpage component). Likewise there is also support for a Compact JS file to be run, which can be loaded with jQuery (or Mootools) to better manipulate the output.

Sections and Category Whitelisting has been given a revamp as well, and the article exclusion tag has been implemented more effectively.

There is however one issue with this implementation. This version gives each article an identifier against which a comment is logged against and stored in FQL on the Facebook servers. The identifiers in previous versions resembled the encoded version of the current URL, this one uses the 'article_' prefix followed by the article ID within Joomla. This means that comments are bound to an article and not to a URL which could change if the alias of the content is modified in the instance of SEF implementations.

2.0.1 - Added Compact Mode Off switch to turn off the comments on the frontpage component and in blog view (basically when this is set to Yes it will restrict the FB Comments output to the full article view only - as per the original code)

2.0.2 - COMING SOON. Will allow a measure of backwards compatibility for people wanting to incorporate their existing FB Messages archive into their content. Should have been something I added from the beginning to be honest.
